Kristen Stewart Offered Role in ‘Akira’

We have learned that Kristen Stewart has been offered the part of Kei, a young medium who becomes the love interest for Kaneda – the role already offered to Hedlund.

Really?!?! Ah that’s funny in that Rob expressed interest in Garrett’s role, if I am not mistaken, back in the summer? And, it’s very cool!! I think she would make a badass anime heroine! And with her “On the Road” co-star. but I have to say…it would have been really cool to have Kristin and Rob star in another film together, so soon too!
I think she would totally be BADASS! I think they could do it (star together) in this one – even if it’s recent. Just with opposing roles. Like he playing something that doesn’t even come close to her, like he be a bad guy and she a good- know what I mean.
I think this would totally be awesome.
Hope she likes the script, if not then I bet she’ll turn it down. :\
You know how she is with movies….
She doesn’t do it unless it “speaks” to her and she loves it and can’t see herself not playing it.
So, we won’t know until she decides I guess.
