Kiowa Gordon, who plays Embry Call in the ‘Twilight’ saga, has joined the indie film ‘Lesser Blessed.’ It tells the story of a First Nations teenager struggling to cope with a painful past and trying to find his place in the modern world. The film stars Benjamin Bratt in the lead role.

The overnight indie-to-major film company, Summit Entertainment, which rocketed up to major success with the ‘Twilight‘ franchise, and the struggling studio Lionsgate, which has all it’s assets riding on the maybe-phenomenon ‘Hunger Games,’ are in negotiations to merge.
