Q&A from the Los Angeles premiere of Girlfriend with Jackson Rathbone

Posted on Sep 27, 2011 by Amy with 4 Comments.

The Los Angeles premiere of the movie Girlfriend occurred on Wednesday, September 21 at the Downtown Independent. After the screening a Q&A session was held with members of the cast and crew including the director and writer, Justin Lerner, the cinematographer, Quyen Tran, and producers, cast members, and soundtrack artists (with their band 100 Monkeys) Jerad Anderson and Jackson Rathbone.  I recorded most of the Q&A and hope you enjoy it. *If you haven’t seen the movie there are spoilers!*

Around the 12:00 minute mark Jackson’s travel back and forth to the Breaking Dawn set is mentioned.

If you are in the Los Angeles area, the producers announced that Girlfriend will be screened again at the Downtown Independent on Sunday, October 23, but at this time no details are on the Downtown Independent’s website. Check back for details.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 Soundtrack Track List Revealed

Posted on Sep 27, 2011 by Amy with 26 Comments.

Summit Entertainment has released the track listing for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and there are a couple familiar names.  Mia Maestro, who is joining the Twilight Saga cast as Carmen of the Denali coven, has a song called “Llovera.” Carter Burwell, the composer of the score for Twilight, is back in the last track spot that usually is reserved for an instrumental piece from the score. The track is called “Love Death Birth.” For fans of Iron & Wine’s “Flightless Bird, American Mouth,” which Edward and Bella danced to at the prom in the first movie, it is back, but this time it is called “Flightless Bird, American Mouth (Wedding Version).” Will this be Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cullen’s first dance? We’ll have to wait until November 18 to see where it fits in, but you can own the soundtrack sooner.  The Breaking Dawn, Part 1 Soundtrack will be available November 8.

The Twilight Convention is returning to Los Angeles with a convention in conjunction with the release of the latest movie.  Summit Entertainment and Creation Entertainment will present The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 Official Fan Convention the weekend of November 4-6 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.

Cullen Crest Gold Packages are now on sale for $349.  The package includes the best seats in the theater, autographs from supporting cast members, admission to two Gold Package only exclusive events including the new Twilight Saga Wedding Convention, which seems to be replacing the Volturi Ball, and a Sunday morning Celebrity Breakfast with Silent Auction, and more.

For details on the convention and to purchase Cullen Crest Gold Packages click here.  Less expensive package and single day tickets are expected to go on sale at a future date.

At this time no cast members have been confirmed, but this Breaking Dawn Convention anticipated to have a line-up similar to the  Eclipse Convention last June, which included Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, nearly all the Cullen’s, the wolfpack members and more. It was an epic event that anyone who attended won’t soon forget.
