Why Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Aren’t Wearing Contacts on ‘EW’

Jack Morrissey, Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon’s partner, has taken to twitter (@Jack_Morrissey) and has been generously answering fan questions and request. Fans have been wondering since last week what went wrong with this week’s Entertainment Weekly cover when it came to Edward and Bella’s eye color. Both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are sans contact lenses in the photo and fans were left wondering was it a mistake or was it intentional.

Jack Morrissey said that Bill Condon is aware of it and that the picture is actually of a rehearsal, hence why Edward’s eyes are not golden and Bella’s eyes are not brown. According to Jack, the reason why they are not looking too thrilled during what we would think is a happy honeymoon romp in the waterfall is: “They’re in character and yeah there’s a drama between them being played out in this moment.”
