Robert Pattinson Talks ‘Breaking Dawn’ Birth Scene

Posted on Mar 21, 2011 by Nim with 9 Comments.

Twihards, rejoice. Robert Pattinson tells Total Film that the scene where his character performs a caesarean with his teeth on wife, Bella (Kristen Stewart), has been filmed for the final part of the Twilight franchise, Breaking Dawn.

He’s currently juggling filming with promotion duties on his new non-vamp flick Water For Elephants, and chatted to TF while in LA.

“Yeah, I’ve done it,” RPattz laughed, “I’ve chewed it, spat it out!”

Though he’s not allowed to give much more away (joking with Ryan Seacrest recently that he gets ‘beaten’ for revealing details), Pattinson promises that Breaking Dawn will be “very different to the other films – more like a horror film.”

“Just some of the source material makes it inevitably more different. It’s completely nuts, the book.”

Bhaha! Oh man, people that are non-fans are going to freak at this scene, lmao. I think this is actually a part of the book that is made the most fun of because when people hear that he uses his teeth to tear into her stomach, their reaction is, “WTF?” Can’t wait to see this scene and laugh at those reactions that are sure to make an appearance!

  7. kim says:

    I can’t wait :O!
But on the other side I want to wait because,
If this part is in the cinemas it means that we are closer to the end. And I don’t want it to come to an end.

I can’t wait to watch the films but would be disappointed if they leave the birth scene for the last film. I thought that would be the best breaking point between the films. Especially since they could have just shown a glimpse of the baby and then the 2nd part would have showed the child older as she realized after the first hunt. Ahhhh the suspense is going to eat at me….I don’t want this to end.
