David Slade Reveals The Wedding Could Have Been in ‘Eclipse’

“We discussed a lot of the things at the script-writing stage — at one point, we were even going to shoot the wedding at the end of ["Eclipse"] but we knew there was another film coming,” Slade tells NextMovie exclusively.
“We knew that a lot of that could go into the next film. And we just made the most concise version of this story that we could.”

glad it wasnt, I love that all the movies stick so close to the books
As much as I’m dying to see the wedding, it would have been wrong to have included it in Eclipse. It would have felt too rushed. Interesting to know it almost happened though.
yes! thank you for not doing that mistake! the wedding scene is all psyching for BD!
Toataly agree no wedding .. Not yet…just stick to the books and no harm will be done to whoever is involved lol
lol what a stupid idea, glad they nixed it.
Thank you for not doing that! I would have been so upset, since that is a HUGE part of the plot in Breaking Dawn. Eclipse was great, and by far the best yet. I look forward to Breaking Dawn 1 and 2!!
thankfully they didn´t. The whole thing belongs to the final chapter of the books, and ties in nicely with the whole honeymoon etc.
yeah im glad they didnt but it would have been cool if they would have put that last part in there were jacob gets a wedding invitation..
Why were they even considering it?
What would be the point?
Crap like this really makes me question if Summit is looking out for the fans or not.
Cause, come on…
How could they have even considered it being in Eclipse?
Sorry, but this makes me a little worried for the next two films…
I truly hope they stick to the book.
Cause, come on… I mean, really?
I would’ve been pissed
Okay so yea definitly no wedding, but I would have looked a clip of maybe Bella imagining her future with Edward. I also wanted flashing scene of Bella picturing her future with Jacob. Just to see the comparison, you know?
Team Edward♥
*Definitely *Loved
