In the weeks leading up to Twilight‘s arrival, Raleigh Studios has been steadily implementing new security measures, including vehicle identification requirements and unique photo badges that authorized personnel must display at all times. But, by far, the most significant change is a 600% increase in the size of the studios own security force.
‘We have increased our number of full-time security personnel from six to twenty-four in the last week,’ says Achee. ‘That’s just the beginning of the ramp-up. We’ll be adding two to four more every week.’ Rather than hire harmless security guards, these new additions are mostly veterans of Louisiana police forces and sheriff’s departments…
In closing, when we asked how confident he was that there would be no issues for the productions under his care at Raleigh Studios, Achee’s answer was clear. ‘I used to run security for Elvis,’ he says. ‘I’m confident.’

Well, a new charity set visit auction has just been announced at Charity Buzz, and right now, the bid is at $3,000, and it includes a special meet and greet with the one and only Robert Pattinson!
The beneficiary of the auction is the GO Campaign, which “improves the lives of orphans and vulnerable children throughout the world by partnering with local grassroots organizations that provide the care and services the children require to survive and thrive.”

The Brazilian TV show Panico somehow managed to get by the the barriers set up at the Isle Esme location and film a bit of what went on inside the house at Ilse Esme, via hidden camera. According to Sérgio Sá Leitão, the president of Rio Filme, the group did not halt production. There was also a brief incident with a helicopter that buzzed the set that caused a slight delay due to the noise.
The video has been pulled down, though there are some still shots popping up around the Internet. Since the footage was obtained by trespassing we are not running the footage if it is reposted. It was taken down due to copyright claim via Summit. Footage obtained standing behind a barrier is one thing, but actually crashing a closed set with a hidden camera is another.
Just wanted to post this so you guys know we won’t be posting any of this footage.
