Posted on Nov 07, 2010 by Nim with 3 Comments.

Twi-hards rejoice! While Bella (Kristen Stewart) is usually dressed down, she’s going to get totally glam for her wedding day. Just yesterday we heard the rumors that Zac Posen may be designing the dream dress for Bella and it looks like the news is true! We caught up with the designer himself at the launch of his Resort collection in NYC at Bloomingdale’s where we were dying to talk hear all about it. When asked if he could comment about the rumors this is what he said!
“I can’t. I don’t speak about any of my projects and the reality of her non reality.” Well, he may not have said he’s definitely designing the dress, but he did say he doesn’t speak about any of his projects. Before walking away, he added in, “You know I do love a wedding.” Who doesn’t! What do you think of the news?
He hasn’t exactly confirmed anything, but he hasn’t debunked the rumors either. We’ll keep you posted.

Florence Welch Discusses Meaning of ‘Heavy In Your Arms’
Posted on Nov 06, 2010 by Nim with 8 Comments.

Florence Welch has said that her song ‘Heavy In Your Arms’ is perfect for the Twilight soundtrack on which it featured as the tracks lyrics deal with the same issues as the teen movie trilogy.
Speaking ahead of the release of ‘Heavy In Your Arms’, which features on the Twilight movie Eclipse, Florence said: “‘Heavy In Your Arms’ I suppose is about the weight of love, and how sometimes it can be a burden between two people.”
“I felt this was a strong theme in the Twilight series – is someone being rescued or are they being condemned, and is the love you carry bringing you down?”
Discussing the recording of the song, she added: “I recorded it using a lot of strange reversed vocal samples and big hip hop piano. It’s basically inspired by 90′s hip hop and gospel choirs, like most of my songs.”

Women from the ‘Twilight’ Franchise Make ELLE’s Power List
Posted on Nov 05, 2010 by Kimmy with 2 Comments.

Thanks to a team of brilliant women, the Twilight saga has grossed $1.8 billion worldwide, making it one of the most formidable franchises ever. Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg scripted Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn parts 1 and 2, all based on Stephenie Meyer’s wildly successful novels (she’s sold a record 85 million books to date and is also a producer). Summit Entertainment’s Nancy Kirkpatrick (president of worldwide marketing) is responsible for launching a shrewd social network ad campaign that is credited with heightening fan anticipation, while Summit’s executive VP and head of physical production, Andi Isaacs, helped shape the modern tween-noir look of the film. And of course, there’s the vehicle’s star, Kristen Stewart, whom the franchise couldn’t live without—and frankly, vice versa.
