UPDATE: Stephenie Meyer Clears the Air Regarding Future Twilight Movies

Posted on Feb 23, 2012 by Kimmy with 1 Comment.

Hey all,

Just wanted to clear up a little rumor making the rounds. I have absolutely no issues with anyone at Lionsgate. Far from being a negative thing, it’s actually a very nice feeling to know that both Lionsgate and Summit would like to make another Twilight movie if I were ever to write another Twilight book. So, thanks for the support, Lionsgate and Summit. I look forward to working for the first time with new friends at Lionsgate and working again with my old friends at Summit!

Steph

Confusing! Good to know everything is well on the Lionsgate / Summit front though!

Happy Birthday, Ashley Greene!

Ashley Greene at the Donna Karan show on February 13 during NYC Fashion Week 2012.

Happy 25th Birthday to Ashley Greene! Ashley hit the ground running so far in 2012.  She has made multiple guest appearances on the ABC drama “Pan Am,” and was a guest on “Live! with Kelly.”  Last week she was spotted several times at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York and she’s now stopping traffic in Times Square on a DKNY billboard. This year she’ll be seen on the big screen with Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore in the comedy “LOL,” and in August she’ll appear along with Tom Felton in the horror film “The Apparition.”  She’ll wrap up 2012 with one last appearance as the vampire we all wish was our best friend, Alice Cullen, in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2.”

Stephenie Meyer Says They Have No Intention of Making More Twilight Films

According to Josh Dickey, the Film Editor at Variety:

As long as we’re on topic: Stephenie Meyer was deeply annoyed that LG brass said they’d do more TWILIGHT pics. She has no such intention.

We’ve had our run of excitement, we have to stop somewhere. Better to go off with a bang than die off into nothingness, right?

Stephenie Meyer has updated the masses on this issue, apparently she never said this. Read more HERE.

Have you caught this Breaking Dawn, Part 1 DVD goof?

I have to thank @CupcakeHuman for letting me know about this error in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1″ DVD and blu-ray’s “special features.”  You’ll find this at the end of the wedding video feature.  Did you catch it?  Do you see it?
